Lawrence Dupuis - Photographer

Originally from the city of Repentigny (Canada), Lawrence Dupuis is a filmmaker and visual artist. After studying film production at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and architectural mapping at the Society for the Arts and Technology of Montreal, the artist is back with new projects, including a public art installation in Repentigny, an architectural projection at large-scale and a science-fiction short. Over the years, Lawrence Dupuis has managed to forge his own unique artistic signature which is now recognized by his peers. His work was recently presented at the Center d’Art Diane-Dufresne in Repentigny. Several of his works have been noticed at the Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma, the Printemps Numérique, the Image & Nation Film Festival, the Rimouski Film Festival and Fashion Art Toronto.

Lawrence Dupuis’s artistic universe is strongly influenced by the work of Moment Factory, Robert Lepage, Todd Haynes, David Lynch and the Coen brothers.
